In Kazan started the "digital" intersection

On July 11, 2019 the Ministry of informatization and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that already a month in Kazan on intersection of streets Dekabristov-Sibgat of Hakeem-Komsomol functions the "digital" intersection. It is the complex of technical means directed directly to increase in traffic safety.

The complex includes the floor "traffic light under legs", the LED tape duplicating traffic light signals, an intelligent system of the sound notification of pedestrians, the laser stop line, LED road indicators, an electronic board of measurement of speed and many other solutions. All this in general is directed to drawing attention of participants of the movement to a road situation and simplification of her perception.

As the CEO of Zarnitsa production association - producer of elements of the "digital" intersection Artur Abdulzyanov explains, digital technologies are applied in many spheres and people already got used to them. Meanwhile the direction of traffic safety requires special attention and implementation of modern technologies too. Universal application of such complexes will allow to solve a problem of psychological balance of participants of traffic. The transparency of a situation, predictability and orderliness of a road situation will exclude a stress, panic, uncontrollable and dangerous behavior.

As the speaker noted, until the end of the year the digital intersection will work in the test mode. Further the company is going to resolve issues of normative regulation of application of "digital" intersections on streets of the cities in an industrial scale.
