1.1 billion euros are spent for creation of a laboratory complex in Europe

On July 15, 2019 it became known that the Siemens Healthineers company completed the large-scale project on creation in Europe of a laboratory complex.

The project with participation of Siemens Healthineers company was implemented within public-private partnership with the Ministry of Health of Turkey and CCN holding based on city hospital Bilkenta (Turkey). For rendering effective laboratory services the equipment using the advanced technological solutions was installed. The amount of investments into creation of laboratories of 7.750 sq.m in the field of biochemistry, genetics, hematology, immunology, microbiology, a patomorfologiya, resuscitation and researches on the place of treatment was 1.1 billion euros.

Within the project on creation of the laboratory Bilkenta complex of Siemens Healthineers supplies medical and peripheral equipment, supplies, renders services of technical and service support and also hiring, training and management of the technical personnel. An obligatory component of the contract is continuous process optimization as a guarantee of good results – the clinical value, efficiency of business processes, financial effectiveness of laboratory and hospital. It is planned that within the next 5 years the laboratory will be able to service more than 50 million human.
