2019: The conclusion of the distribution agreement with Medtronic
On July 23, 2019 it became known that the Medtronic company (Medtronik) signs the distribution agreement from Viz.ai ("Visas.hey-ah"), software developer (software), the stroke allowing to detect signs that will give the chance to expand deliveries of this technology to hospitals and the medical centers.
Software of Viz.ai contacts computer tomographs for detection of potential strokes owing to occlusion of large vessels and classification of extent of defeat for prioritization of delivery of health care to patients. Given software can automatically notify specialists and direct x-rays to their smartphones.
According to earlier conducted research with participation of two medical centers, the system developed by Viz.ai is capable to notify specialists on stroke cases earlier, than it standard procedures allow, saving thus on average 52 minutes[1].
2018: Attraction of $21 million investments
After approval of FDA in February, 2018 the Viz.ai system is used more than in 200 hospitals of the USA. At the end of 2018 Viz.ai attracted 21 million dollars in a round of financing of series A with assistance of Kleiner Perkins companies (Kleiner of Perkins) and GV (Dzhi-Vee earlier known as Google Ventures) and got from FDA the second approval on a system for automatic KT-perfusion.
