Announcement of iQuia GM85
At the beginning of December, 2019 Samsung provided the mobile iQuia GM85 digital premium system for radiographic researches which combines enhanced capabilities of management, usability and high quality of images.
The ultracompact, extralight iQuia GM85 system can be used in any place, even in narrow corridors. Its small weight provides the increased mobility and allows not to think of restriction of weight when using the elevator.
The mobile platform provides exact positioning of the patient and is controlled clicking the special handle. Besides, a system is equipped with the new detector iQuia which should accelerate connection and provide high quality the image. The high allowable load (200 kg) along with dust and water resistance allows to use actively the detector in the most different conditions. His design focused on the user facilitates positioning of the patient.
Besides, iQuia GM85 is quickly loaded up to 100% within 4 hours then the battery with long term of service gives to the doctor the chance to work throughout the day without additional charging. Completely the charged battery can provide 220 pictures and 20 km of a run.
The software of SimGrid optimizes workflow, guaranteeing a high image quality. SimGrid allows to pass a stage of installation and removal of the disseminating grid, thereby reducing the general time of inspection for 28%. The SID application (determination distance from a radiation source to the patient) provides the most exact positioning of the device. The S-Align application provides exact alignment for obtaining high-quality images. The Remote View function provides remote access for viewing images at the workstation via the web browser.[1]
Announcement of the platform of digital roentgenography of iQuia
On July 23, 2019 submitted to Samsung NeuroLogica the new platform of digital roentgenography of a premium class at an annual meeting of AHRA in Denver. The range of the producer was filled up by the solution iQuia.
It includes a set of devices and technologies, including iQuia Detector is the digital x-ray detector intended for visual inspection of patients up to 400 kilograms. A system is supplied with advanced technologies of alignment and positioning of the detector and also function of automatic calibration of defect, says the company.
This type of detectors will be available on iQuia GC85A, the ceiling DR system of a premium class, and the mobile iQuia GM85 x-ray system. Detectors will be available in two sizes: detector S4335-AW 14 x 17 inches and S4343-AW panel 17 x 17 inches.
The iQuia platform is also delivered with iQuia Smart Center — the software for monitoring of quality and work with assets, capable to integrate data of images from several x-ray devices of Samsung on a single platform. Software facilitates work of personnel, provides calculation of a dose of X-ray contrast substances, optimizes operation of the equipment using performance review, allowing to reduce runtime of tasks and a possible downtime of the equipment, improves data analysis of the detector and optimizes workload of the administrator due to centralization of data.
Besides, a system has the improved ergonomic characteristics, including convenient handles for carrying, slanted edge and the central engraving for alignment and positioning of the detector. The platform is characterized with an increased distributed loading capacity up to 400 kg, and raised a heat - and the water resistance of a system provides reliability of work on a liquid hit case.[2]
