With opening of the additional terminal at the main airport of Buenos Aires in October, 2019, passengers will be able to undergo process of registration and to check in luggage, without wasting time in queues. It will become possible thanks to technologies from SITA which will simplify departures from the International airport of Buenos Aires (EZE). On July 25, 2019 reported about it in SITA company.

Self-service racks from SITA and the solution for checking in will allow the airport to service effectively the bigger number of passengers to increase a passenger traffic more than by 50% by 2021. The implemented services are a part of the global plan for improvement of the main airport of Argentina which also includes opening of additional terminals of arrival and a dispatching tower.

"We aim to make the International airport of Buenos Aires better, using the innovative technologies from around the world. We set racks of self-service and the device for independent checking in which are available to use by several airlines at once. It will change the system of service of passengers, significantly having reduced waiting time in queues",

"Thanks to racks of independent registration from SITA, the airports reduce passenger service time by 25%. We also witnessed as people spend for checking in of only 20 seconds, using racks Scan&Fly. The passengers who are taking off from the terminal will notice a considerable difference in service at the boarding gate",

SITA technologies will help to maximize a passenger traffic in the terminal as the bigger number of passengers will be able to be registered at the same time. So, for example, racks of independent registration are located on special "islands" that allows to use effectively space and to reduce waiting time for passengers.
