2022: Start of work of courier robots

In early July 2022, VR Bangers in Las Vegas launched courier robots that deliver virtual reality porn around the city. Renting a VR headset for a day and a delivery service cost $50.

Previously, VR Bangers tried to collaborate with Las Vegas hotels to offer virtual reality helmets with adult movies for visitors, but they refused there due to difficulties storing devices. The company claims to disinfect Quest 2 headsets between uses.

According to CEO Daniel Abramovich, courier robots are quite inconspicuous, so neighbors are unlikely to pay attention to them. In early July 2022, five Quest 2 headset machines with pre-downloaded VR Bangers films are delivering, and if the service is popular, the park will be expanded until the end of summer 2022.

According to Futurism, many companies engaged in the production of video for adults immediately drew attention to the excitement around virtual reality headsets and saw this as a completely new market for their content. Some of them completely refused to create regular porn videos and moved on to release, exclusively VR videos. In order for the user to feel the experience of watching videos in VR, it must be shot in special conditions and using special technologies. A person has binocular vision, which means that the natural 3D effect that users observe in everyday life can only be achieved using a technique that simulates human vision.

As the developers from VR Bangers said, it is necessary to understand that in ordinary video for virtual glasses, the requirement for quality and recording technologies is not as high as in virtual pornography. Any subsidence of FPS (frames per second), a decrease in video quality, flaws in the recording angle and how the operator behaves (shoots statically or moves the camera), these all nuances can completely spoil the impression of watching content. If ideal conditions are not met, then watching VR porn will not give a feeling of complete immersion and presence.^[1]
