2019: Transfer of Norilsk Nickel and Rosbank information systems interaction to the Host-to-Host digital platform

On July 30, 2019, BDO Unicon Business Solutions announced that its consultants had completed a project to transfer the interaction between Norilsk Nickel and Rosbank information systems to the Host-to-Host digital platform. This technology provides high-speed secure data exchange directly between the corporate SAP Norilsk Nickel system and the bank's Host-to-Host service. The Treasury of Norilsk Nickel was able to almost instantly send payment documents and receive statements on settlement accounts opened in Rosbank.

The transition to Host-to-Host technology will not only increase the efficiency and security of payments, but also simplify internal processes, and in the future - will ensure the launch of fundamentally different, "digital" business scenarios for interaction with banks and counterparties. The next plans for the development of the solution include the transfer to work in the Host-to-Host mode of subsidiaries and branches of Norilsk Nickel, as well as a significant expansion of functionality.

Thanks to the transition to Host-to-Host technology with Rosbank, we expect significant savings in the company's operating costs by accelerating, simplifying, improving the quality and transparency of the standard business process of daily processing of banking documents. The task of integration with Rosbank services through Host-to-Host technology was completed in a short time - less than four months, including the modification of the current functionality of the Norilsk Nickel Treasury, the implementation of a secure information exchange loop and integration with the Rosbank system.
