2019: Transfer of online store and online services for clients on SAP C/4HANA
On August 1, 2019 the SAP company announced that NLMK Group, the international metallurgical company, transfers online store and online services for clients to the SAP C/4HANA platform (before SAP Hybris) entering a portfolio of the SAP solutions Customer Experience which will provide to buyers operational delivery of a wide range of products with a set of services.
The nlmk.shop online store was started for the companies of small and medium business in March, 2018. This channel allows to execute purchase completely remotely: from order placement before providing supporting documents. The wide range of flat-rolled and high-quality products and a hardware is available to clients.
It is expected that transition to a complex of the SAP solutions Customer Experience will provide omnichannel customer interaction and also seamless integration of online store and online services with internal systems of NLMK Group. Transition will also allow to accelerate business processes and to implement new services for clients, such as configuring and production of products directly under the order on production and tracking of its accomplishment.
On nlmk.shop products both NLMK, and partners of the company — distribution networks and processors of metal products will be provided. Besides, this platform will provide operational delivery to any region of the country through shipment from any of warehouses of NLMK and partners — metaltraders, noted in SAP.
