On August 1, 2019 the Russian Towers company announced creation of INDOOR infrastructure for implementation of a seamless covering mobile communication of the constructed Congress center of the international exhibition center "Yekaterinburg EXPO".

For August, 2019 the area of the Congress center was 41,600 sq.m., 4 elevated and 1 basement store, 15 conference rooms, 26 negotiation and restaurant. To provide guests of the center with modern standards of communication, was the DAS system (Distributed Antenna System) which allows a signal of cellular communication to pass through a set of steel structures and at the same time to remain high-speed is designed and constructed.

The feature of the solution is that antenna infrastructure was constructed for five operatorsVimpelCom, Megafon, MTS, Tele2 and Motive which equipment and, respectively, requirements to infrastructure, are different. Antennas were issued under the general stylistics of premises of the Congress center without communication quality degradation that also demanded the non-standard solution.

In spite of the fact that creation of telecom infrastructure was performed in a short time in parallel with finishing of premises of the Congress center, all works were performed in time. All five operators got access to infrastructure of DAS and carried out necessary works on testing and setup of a system. It allowed to provide the Congress center with multiband network in standards 2G, 3G and 4G of generations, providing guests of a forum with high rates on the speed of the Internet and quality of a mobile voice. Thanks to the DAS system constructed by Russian Towers company, average speed on one subscriber at simultaneous access to the network of 100 people was 100 Mbps, the maximum measured – 170 Mbps. The high level of a covering of network for 95% of the area of the Congress center is reached.

Telecom infrastructure of Russian Towers at the minimum upgrade is ready to creation of a communication network of a 5G, is completely integrated with the systems of positioning in the building and provides a full range of opportunities of mobile access to services and services.
