2019: Product development for smooth operation of cash desks
On August 5, 2019 the company Open Technologies reported that it together with Oracle developed the product ensuring smooth operation of cash desks in retail. Using methods of artificial intelligence service monitors work of each point of sale, establishes the reasons of failures and eliminates them. The product is based on Oracle Big Data Cloud Service.
Problems in operation of the cash equipment are analyzed with the help data: magazines of registration of transactions CRs, Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth- radars, a log from cash desks, video analytics systems security video surveillances, GSM/ LTE- registrars, infrared observation systems. The processed information defines existence of a system problem on point of sale in real time with the operational notification on approach of this event. The represented service predicts and reveals systematic problems at service of buyers on each point of sale trade of a point.
