Ergonomics and hygiene of a workplace at the computer

Office work integrated to permanent use of the computer, obviously has a big lack of a type of discomfort which arises in connection with long stay in the same provision. The lack of the movement which many office workers face is fraught for an organism with big troubles in the future: substantially the risk of development of warmly vascular diseases, dementias, type 2 diabetes, a colon cancer and a breast increases. Non-compliance with hygiene of a workplace can also leave a negative mark on human health, for example, to provoke infectious diseases of digestive tract or airways.

Risks for health at misoperation of the keyboard

According to data of the World Health Organization (WHO) for 2019, in Russia about 17.1% (that is equivalent to about 20 million) adults lead a slow-moving life: 16.6% from this number – men, and 17.6% - women.

The person working on the computer (it is about the keyboard and a mouse, text typing on mobile phones) in an uncomfortable position within several hours a day subjects inner patterns of brushes and luchezapyastny joints to repeatedly repeating low-amplitude dynamic and static loads. The human body is self-regulating structure, but if an overload ultraboundary, then these mechanisms do not cope and there are internal conflicts of the sliding structures of a brush.

Sinews are overloaded that leads to development of the tendinous and copular conflicts, and it, in turn, leads to such diseases as the clicking fingers (stenoziruyushchy ligamentita), de Querven's diseases – tenosinovit a short razgibatel of the 1st finger and a long muscle of the brush which is taking away the 1st finger, krepitiruyushchiya tendovaginit a beam razgibatel of a brush, tunnel syndromes of a median nerve at the level of the karpalny channel and an elbow nerve at the level of Giyona channel. All diseases are stretched in time and develop gradually and only in a final stage force to see a doctor.

Hygiene of work with the keyboard and mouse

For fight against developing of diseases there is such discipline as hygiene of a workplace. It is a complex of actions for work ergonomics on means of information input.

Here some recommendations about work on the computer and other gadgets:

  • provision at a table – between shins and a floor of 90 degrees, knees in provision of 90 degrees, elbows too or are slightly bent;
  • use the keyboard for input more often, than a mouse, the touchpad is better, than a mouse, keyboards should be keyed smoothly and easily, without clicks and with the minimum effort;
  • the brush should be in the family way of easy back bending up to 10 degrees;
  • during printing the brush and a forearm should represent uniform structure, without movements in a luchezapyastny joint, by movement of all hand, the forearm should not lie on a table.

During a working hour of a brush, it is necessary to give 3-5 minutes to production gymnastics, it is work in luchezapyastny joints and fingers of a brush with the maximum amplitude, on 15 exercises both 3-fold repetitions and by the minimum efforts.

For increase in resistance to static and low-amplitude movements it is necessary to strengthen muscles of forearms and brushes: playing table tennis, hockey or soccer. But if the specified actions do not help to adapt to usual loading, then in this situation it it is necessary to exclude and see a doctor, for discussion of the plan of rehabilitation. All arisen problems have conservative and operational treatment that already depends on regenerator capabilities of an organism and observance by patients of medical recommendations.

Summing up all aforesaid, there is a wish to note that, perhaps, efficiently prevention of development of problems with health owing to sedentary work and permanent contact with gadgets exercises in the gym or in the open air are most, swimming in the pool, is desirable 2-3 times a week, the traumatologist of JSC Medizina Andrey Moskalchenko said in July, 2019.
