The Sheremetyevo Airport automates tax monitoring using SAP

2019: Start of creation of an end-to-end system of tax monitoring

The international airport Sheremetyevo and SAP company announced on August 13, 2019 start of the project on creation of an end-to-end system of tax monitoring to which the airport should pass by 2020. The project is implemented by experts of division of SAP Digital Business Services.

Main objective of implementation — increase in transparency, automation of accounting programs and the system of tax monitoring and also decrease in volume of required documents at the request of tax authorities and development of internal control systems of Sheremetyevo. Besides, important feature of the project is calculation of a tax benefit on property on subjects to concession which are given in free use by the state to the airport.

Connection to the system of tax monitoring — an important strategic step of our company for ensuring transparency of accounting, development of an internal control system and risk management. We hope that world and Russian practices of SAP will help us within a year completely to develop an automated system and to pass to the updated form of tax control — Alexander Oleynik, the Deputy General Manager for Economics and to finance of JSC MASH noted.

Remote electronic interaction will allow Sheremetyevo to consult with tax administration of rather new transactions, to reduce reporting review periods, to automate the internal control and financial processes connected with payment of taxes — Ara Aguzumtsyan, the deputy CEO of SAP CIS considers.
