2020: Updating and expansion of the communication system
On January 15, 2021 Avaya Holdings Corp corporation. announced the project on updating and expansion of the existing Avaya communication system in JSC Meditsina.
Project objective – to provide a single network of unified communications in all divisions of organization, to organize mobile access to corporate communication for the staff of the enterprise and to improve interaction of call center specialists with patients.
The need for expansion of systems capabilities of communication appeared at JSC Meditsina in connection with construction of the new hi-tech oncological out-patient and diagnostic center on 300 jobs. In view of the increased load of operators need of increase in resource capacity of contact center of clinic became obvious. The decision not to change equipment supplier, and to carry out upgrade of already existing Avaya communication system was made.
Within the project the Avaya Aura R8 platform on 600 subscribers in the existing medical center and also expansion on 300 subscribers in the opened oncological center in the city of Khimki was integrated into infrastructure of contact center JSC Meditsina. The core of this platform includes all opportunities of unified communications, in particular, the intellectual Avaya Workplace platform, Avaya CC Elite contact center on 52 operator, a system microcellular DECT of communication, the system of recognition and speech synthesis, a recording system of a talk and reporting system.

Thanks to solutions of Avaya it was succeeded to organize a single failsafe system of unified communications and service of contact center and also to create mobile access for staff of clinic to corporate assets of communication. Integration of DECT of telephony with the systems of ward signaling in the center gave the chance to health workers to obtain operational information about patients and to react instantly to their requests.
