Salt Security the Platform for protection of API

The platform for protection of API continuously in the automatic mode traces everything, including illegitimate, updates and changes of the protected API. It allows to reveal "blind zones" in real time and to interfere with access through them to confidential data. 2019: Entry into the Russian market

On August 19, 2019 the Selectel company, provider of cloud services and services of data centers reported that they together with Salt Security, developer company of means of information security, brought to the Russian market the platform for protection of API.

Experts refer attacks on program interfaces of annexes (API) to the most serious threats for corporate information systems. Salt Security developed and patented the solution for identification and prevention of the attacks to API mobile, web and IoT-applications, SaaS and microservices. In difference from traditional tools, it effectively protects from the modern attacks using individual vulnerabilities in logic of separate API.

Using artificial intelligence for the detailed analysis of specific API, the solution Salt Security defines signs of its normal and aberrant behavior. Further it allows to reveal and block the attacks at an investigation stage.

Analysts of Gartner consider that by 2022 API will be the main targets of cybercriminals. Cloud Security Alliance ranks unsafe API as three main threats to cloud computing. Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) calls unsafe API as a basic reason of nine of ten vulnerabilities included in the running report OWASP Top 10.
