According to analysts to whom Business Insider refers, the Microsoft company practically guaranteed itself a victory in the tender of DEOS as only the packet of Microsoft Office 365 conformed to strict requirements of the customer. What Microsoft partners will participate in project implementation remained the only question.

Microsoft fights for one more cloud contract of the Pentagon — Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI). Its basic differs from DEOS is that acquired the right will perform JEDI to do it independently, without attracting integrators.[1]
