The 1960th
In the mid-sixties brothers Kristen and Kyeld Skov developed the first vent system. Brothers Skov managed the enterprise for production of eggs, largest in Scandinavia, which was located in the old estate in Estergaard Hovergaard. The idea of a vent system appeared in connection with construction of two livestock premises.
Brothers did not manage to find the ventilation system rather powerful for premises of the expected size and therefore they started development of own vent systems.
Sale of ventilating solutions for poultry farming and pig-breeding began in 1966 that laid the foundation for SKOV company. The ventilation systems made by brothers quickly won popularity. The existing areas began not to be enough and therefore the plant in Glingyor was constructed.
