At the end of August, 2019 in France began to use a system which automatically fines loud cars and motorcycles on roads.
The equipment placed on lampposts is supplied with four microphones which every second 10 times measure the level of street noise then the software models an acoustic trace in the form of color points behind a moving source of the increased noise.
A system will compare the sound recordings received by means of the radar with data from police cells of video surveillance and to automatically send to violators of law and order penalties.
Noise is a damnation of modern life and threat to health. It harms the person the same as , for example, passive smoking — told Bruitparif company which was engaged in development of radars. |
By the end of August, 2019 noise radars test in the city Villeneuve le Roi (near Paris) near the Orli airport. In parallel 40 such devices are tested near brisk Parisian bars and large building sites.
The employee of administration Villeneuve le Rua Remy Jourdan told Reuters that he has nothing against sports cars, the Ferrari type, or the Harley-Davidson motorcycles, however these vehicles prevents to live quietly to citizens, day especially at night.
In France the laws limiting noise of motor transport were entered earlier, however it was heavy to put them into practice as the police had to catch each such violator separately.
It is expected that mass distribution of noise radars across all France will happen in two years. During this time the technology will pass broad tests. Also it is going to adopt several laws connected with violation of noise level by cars.[1]
