Structure and the largest players of the Russian market of ERP systems in trade (vendors)

Having analyzed activity of the companies integrators and product structure of the projects executed by them, the TAdviser Center had an opportunity to define the market shares in absolute expression (on projects) falling on products of the developers of ERP systems who are present at the Russian market for trade. According to the received results, three leading of the market vendors includes Microsoft Business Solutions (the first place), 1C (the second place) and SAP (the third place).

According to the Center of the choice of technologies and suppliers of TAdviser, the leader in the market of ERP systems in the Russian trade on installed products is Microsoft Business Solutions. 44.3% of all implementation projects of ERP systems in trade are the share of its solutions (Microsoft Dynamics NAV – 25.9%, Microsoft Dynamics AX – 18.4%).

The second place is surely taken by the Russian company "1C". Products based on the 1C: Enterprise 8.0 platform occupy over a third of the considered segment – 33.2%.

To the third place with big lag from the first two leaders there was a SAP company, its solutions occupy 6.7% of the market (mySAP ERP – 4%, SAP Business One – 2.7%).

In total nearly 85% of all ERP projects in the Russian trade are the share of solutions of three leading vendors.

Quite good positions are taken also by other domestic suppliers of ERP systems – Kompas companies (An ERP system "COMPASS" and 6.2% of the considered segment) and Parus (An ERP system Parus and 4.9% respectively). Other domestic supplier – Galaktika company with the ERP system "Galaktika ERP" has weaker positions in the Russian trade – only about 1% of the considered segment.

About 1% of the considered segment is the share of the closest competitor of mySAP ERP – the Oracle E-Business Suite system. From Oracle – competitors now SAP Business One – the ERP system of J.D.Edwards Enterprise One is the share of other system less than 1%. However, the last circumstance can be explained with what SAP Business One implements about ten partners in all Russia, and J.D.Edwards Enterprise One – only two. At the same time, according to the experts, J.D.Edwards Enterprise One is very worthy choice for automation of trade enterprise.
