The AVV industrial robots upgrade meat-processing plant "Cherkizovo" in Kashira

2019: Implementation of the AVV industrial robots

On September 11, 2019 the company ABB reported that it equipped the meat-processing enterprise Cherkizovo groups in Kashira 14 industrial robots and software for management robotic of sections. Four high-speed robot- IRB stacker 360, nine IRB 6650S robots intended for service of the systems of a klipsovaniye, one IRB 6700 robot-palletayzer and also a security system of the last generation of SafeMove 2 and the software ABB RobotStudio offline programming were a part of complex delivery.

Work at the Cherkizovo-Kashira plant was optimized using the system of IRC5 controllers by means of their implementation in special cabinets of management systems for a robotic cell. Such solution increases safety of work with robots at the enterprise and allows to control robotic production process more effectively.

The meat-processing plant in Kashira is a modern platform where at a design stage all conditions for implementation of robotic solutions are created. The high level of industrial automation at the enterprise conforms to the European standards of production of food products and allows to minimize wearisome manual labor of the person.

It is important to understand that it was not upgrade, and actually construction from scratch. We worked in close cooperation with customers better to understand requirements of the plant in Kashira, and to provide the complete solution which is completely corresponding to their requirements told Alexander Novoselov, the head of the Robotics business direction of AVV in Russia

Service specialists of AVV company carried out balancing and commissioning and prepared the equipment it for an exit to high-speed indicators, necessary for production. For September, 2019 the company holds remote consultations for the staff of the plant, answering questions of exploitation of robots and the software. In plans of AVV - training in programming, adjustment and readjustment of robots for the staff of new meat processing plant.
