2019: Personal data protection of patients of radiological offices in clinics of Moscow

On September 17, 2019 the Elefus company reported that it developed and implemented the IT system of personal data protection which are processed and stored in the uniform radiological information service (URIS). Project works were completed in 2018. For September, 2019 a system works in 64 clinics of Moscow, including out-patient organizations of Zelenograd.

According to the company, the Uniform Radiological Information Service (URIS) is created within the project of informatization of health care of Moscow. ERIS represents an information system which integrates in itself medical equipment, jobs of radiologists and uniform archive of diagnostic images. Among this IT solution magnetic and resonant, digital devices of classical X-ray, devices for carrying out fluorography and computer tomographs. Creation of ERIS solved a problem of storage and availability of the images received as a result of researches, descriptions and the conclusions. Thanks to start of ERIS patients of Moscow are become more available by hi-tech diagnostic testings and time of their waiting was reduced.

ERIS developer — the Laval company — during creation of this service for ensuring reliable personal data protection invited the Elefus command.

Experts Elefus analyzed process of collecting and transfer of personal data (PDN) of patients. To ensure their safety it was decided to organize secure channels of communication between radiological offices and DPC using means of cryptographic protection.

Experts Elefus offered several options of creation of the IT system using different software. Pictures were transferred in the simulated environment a different type and specialists estimated as speed in communication channels changes. As a result for use in scales of all ERIS was the software package VipNET is selected. Within a month the selected equipment was tested still in actual practice. And when calculations of experts Elefus were confirmed, installation of gateways of security of HW50 in radiological offices and HW1000 in DPC began.

The equipment in medical institutions was installed by the Elefus command in extreme conditions. On installation in a radiological office only 15 minutes as they are highly loaded were allotted to specialists. The equipment was prednastroyeno and that it was quickly connected to a monitoring system, experts of Elefus created an additional script. Thus installation and start of a system cryptographic protection information on one object kept within record 15 minutes. And implementation in To Moscow came to the end less, than in two weeks.

For September, 2019 via secure channels of communication more than one million results of researches a year are transferred.

There passed about a year from project implementation. All system of cryptographic protection works predictably, without breaking and without delaying work of employees of radiological offices.
