SONET finished creation of the largest printing complex in JSC Rostelecom

Choosing a Solution

Rightfully it is possible to call a printing complex of the Center of collecting of receivables to Nizhny Novgorod created for the centralized printing and postprinting preparation of correspondence to consumers of company services Rostelecom on the European part of Russia the project, largest in Russia, in the field of the organization of printing. This really large-scale solution in terms of assigned tasks on volumes of printing, the used printing and finishing equipment, the unique software. Work of the Center of collecting of debt is conducted on early terms of formation of debt of subscribers of Rostelecom and includes, first of all, the customer notification about the debt which is available for them. Printing and sending letters with a reminder on the formed debt – the major business process in the Center of collecting of receivables. Before creation of the consolidated printing complex, the branches located on the European part of Russia independently were engaged in the organization of process. As a result process was inefficient, led to increase in costs. At the same time and the quality of a print not always satisfied to standards of JSC Rostelecom. With respect thereto the management of MF OTsO Branch made the decision on the organization of own printing complex, the osnashchennogounikalny, high-performance printing equipment and finishing document handling.

Result

It is important to note that the printing complex completely closes all stages of creation of letters, i.e. as a result of work of the line of a complex of the letter as a cavity are ready to be shipped. Planned power of the line – 1,000,000 letters a month. It is important to note that control of work of so powerful complex is exercised by forces of only 2 operators. Specialists developed SONET and implemented a modern production line as a part of which:

• The system of industrial printing of XeroxNuvera 157EA with a capacity of printing up to 2,200,000 copies a month, powerful functionality of printing and finishing processing;
• The software solution "Managing Information System" from Xerox;
• Folder inserting Kern 686 system;
• Franking NEOPOST IS-5000 system.

The printing and finishing equipment which entered the complete solution allows to create quickly departures when preserving low cost of a print and ownership. The system of industrial printing of XeroxNuvera 157EA is capable to perform the continuous printing and postprinting processing answering to the customer's tasks. Besides, Xerox provided to the customer the unique software solution "Managing Information System" (MIS) which controls all process of creation and sending payment orders. The software product which integrates a complex of modules for development, printings and konvertovaniye of departures with variable data and also for accounting of defects, formation of tasks on a dopechatka of circulations, preparation of the accompanying documentation and reports on the done work. The Xerox software product of penal correction system is completely integrated with printing oborudovaniyemxerox and also provides ability to integrate with the folder inserting equipment of Kern company. All this allows to create the systems of a closed loop of processing of departures with automatic creation of tasks for a dopechatka of defects. A system successfully solves problems of monitoring of all production phases, allowing to automate such processes as sending documents for printing, accounting of finished goods, identification and a dopechatka of the rejected departures. Also Xerox of penal correction system controls load distribution between devices and redirects flows of documents on others printers if on one of machines there was a breakdown.
