2019: Osnazeniye robotic solutions of ABB
On September 23, 2019 the ABB company reported that the automobile plant of the Haval brand (Great Wall Motors carmaker) in Tula region was equipped with the robotic systems and modern industrial solutions of ABB company.
In workshop of welding more than 70 robots of ABB of high loading capacity of the IRB 6700 and IRB 7600 series were installed. These robots are necessary for execution of operations of folding of hinged elements and spot welding of a body, arc welding, movement of parts.
The press workshop is equipped with modern technology - robotic high-speed stamping. ABB is the world leader of this technology which is responsible for the accuracy of case shaped parts of the car. On the line robots of ABB of the special IRB 6660 PT series for ensuring the automated process are installed. Works on start of this line were conducted by engineers of ABB Russia.
IRB 6700 robots reckon as the most productive in a class of 150-300 kg with the smallest cost of ownership. These models differ in the increased interservice interval and a possibility of fast service. Rigid construction and also electric motors and compact reducers of the last generation do IRB 6700 extremely reliable. Besides, this robot consumes 15% less energy, than representatives of the previous generation of this series.
The IRB 7600 robot is ideal for the transactions requiring high loading capacity regardless of complexity of works. Its loading capacity reaches 630 kg - at this IRB 7600 - the exact and fast robot with short time of cycles, capable to work in the most severe conditions.
The design of the IRB 6660 PT robot in combination with a wide range (that provides the high accuracy and continuous work) perfectly is suitable for pressing of parts at the enterprises of the automotive industry. Speed of work of IRB 6660 PT is high for this class of machines at the expense of what its short operating cycles are provided. Besides, these robots have the high performance and long term of service. Loading capacity of IRB 6660 PT varies from 100 to 130 kg.
Robots of ABB were delivered as a part of the complete solution - production lines. Experts of ABB also performed services, consultation and training of staff of the enterprise before and after start-up of the plant - on site and online.
At the organization of modern production an important role is played by flexibility and ease of setup of the equipment. Robots of ABB completely conform to these requirements. Process from installation of the first robot at our plant before start of production of the first test part took about a month that speaks about consecutive and clear process of adjustment and programming, tells Sergey Onufriyev, the chief mechanical engineer of the Haval plant

Technical solution was initially developed for the Haval plant on the low-voltage complete devices (LVCD) of ABB. On start of the project the project of creation of own one-transformer substation of the plant was in detail studied: the transformer of ABB and section of buses, according to the project, had to be compactly installed directly in workshops on the production site. Reliability and security of this solution was approved by the customer.
For the project the complete distributors (CD) of medium voltage with air insulation of UniSec of 10 kV, the DTE and RESIBLOC dry transformers, low-voltage complete devices in sliding execution of MNS 3.0 equipped with time cut-outs which are capable to be integrated with the digital solutions ABB Ability and also different electroinstallation products were offered.
Low-voltage complete devices with a connectivity of digital solutions and services give to the enterprise the chance to reach high rates of efficiency and security. Control in real time, predictive analytics, intellectual energy management - all this becomes available thanks to the digital ABB Ability portfolio. It includes more than 180 digital solutions based on the industrial Internet allowing to create attached devices, systems and services which considerably increase performance reduce housekeeping overheads and energy consumption.
