2019: Testing of the "cloud" electronic signature of documents for business
On September 24, 2019 VTB announced the beginning of testing of a pack ice of little known method of confirmation of transactions and the signature of documents for legal entities. Now the "cloud" qualified electronic signature is available to users of VTB Business Lite Online Internet bank. The solution is implemented based on the certified mobile application of myDSS.
Unlike the normal electronic signature for "cloud" installation of a specialized software on the client's computer is not required. For signing of documents using the myDSS application the user receives the push-notification which contains summary of the document on the mobile device, further the client selects action – to sign or reject the document.
This option allows to increase limits of banking activities in online channels, thanks to the raised security level in comparison with standard SMS confirmation. One more important advantage of service is an opportunity to certify documents even in the absence of an Internet access — offline.
