2019: Delivery of NFWare Virtual CG-NAT

On September 24, 2019 the NFWare company reported that together with Tinkoff of Mobile signed the agreement on delivery of the solution Virtual CGNAT which implementation will allow the operator to provide with the IP addresses of all new subscribers in the conditions of rapid development of the customer base.

In 2012 the available IPv4-addresses which are earlier issued by regional regulators officially ended. Operators continued to receive the addresses on recycling, but also they, according to forecasts, will end at the end of 2019. The protocol drafted in the eighties did not assume the current number of Internet users: more than 7 billion devices are already the share of 4.3 billion addresses in the world. For providing an exit of subscribers in the Internet operators began to use CGNAT(Carrier Grade Network Address Translation) technology. CGNAT allows several users to use safely one IP address, thus reducing quantity of unique addresses in ownership of provider. The solution also allows to perform smooth migration on IPv6 protocol.

NFWare performs broadcast of the IP addresses most efficiently. The solution of the company completely program, is established on standard servers and is integrated into the virtualized infrastructure. At the same time NFWare provides high reliability of work and performance up to 240 gigabits per second that allows to compete with traditional producers of network equipment successfully.

Since launch the concept of virtualization of network services (NFV) was a part of strategy of Tinkoff of Mobile. With the software solution from NFWare Tinkoff Mobile will have an opportunity to scale capacity of the network as required, in only several hours. It in turn allows the operator to save considerably capital costs of expansion of network.

The customer base of Tinkoff Mobayla in a year grew by 5 times, and in our plans to save these rates.
