Studied in MGIMO at faculty of applied economy and commerce, but gave up study because of occupations tennis.

For September, 2019 lives in France. Is the fourth racket of the world. The winner of five ATP tournaments in singles. The first Russian for the last 14 years who reached the final of a Grand Slam tournament in singles.

In 2019 won in 54 matches from 71. In September, 2019 won on the St tournament. Petersburg Open, having interrupted a 15-year series without victories of Russians.

On September 24, 2019 Tinkoff announced the beginning of cooperation with Daniila Medvedev. Daniil Medvedev became the ambassador of the Tinkoff brand and will participate in the advertizing and marketing campaigns and actions of a brand. Tinkoff will become the first Russian company with which cooperates the athlete.
