2019: Implementation of a failsafe hardware platform for a virtualization farm

On September 25, 2019 it became known that the DEPO Computers company developed and implemented a failsafe hardware platform for a farm of virtualization of Russian Cold group within the project on implementation of IT infrastructure. The solution of DEPO Computers was selected by the customer among several alternative offers thanks to fault tolerance and complex approach to ensuring high reliability of data storage, business processes of group, crucial for work.

2018: Updating of services and carrying out data migration

At the beginning of 2018 in Russian Cold DBMS 1C Group " the decision on transition to other services which had to ensure effective functioning of production processes against the background of growth of business of group of companies was made. in particular, it was necessary to carry out consolidation of capacities for all companies and branches entering into Russky Holod Group. Works on consolidation, transition to the updated services and carrying out migration data on other platform needed to be carried out to a short time, before start of a high season which for production of ice cream begins in May and continues till September.

For the solution of this task, specialists of DEPO Computers designed a hardware platform for a virtualization farm with the high level of fault tolerance and reliability of data storage. The platform is built on production models of servers and storage systems which are developed and are made by DEPO Computers company. The architecture and a configuration of the equipment were picked up taking into account requirements of business applications and services of the customer. Besides, the equipment of DEPO is provided with warranty service within 3 years.

Having considered all alternative offers, the customer selected a hardware platform of DEPO Computers. DEPO Computers of technology of reliable data storage used in the solution became one of the pacing factors which influenced this choice. These technologies provide the maximum quantity of scenarios of data recovery at different possible force majeur situations: failures of the engineering systems, interruptions in power supply, etc. In real efficiency of these technologies the customer had an opportunity to be convinced earlier, during operation of servers and storage systems of DEPO.

Works on deployment of a hardware platform for a virtualization farm, to transition to other services and data migrations were completed in May, 2018. For acceleration of works on start of services, specialists of DEPO Computers at the first stage of works provided to the customer a substitution storage system from own reserve. On this storage system settings of a system and the general configuration of the solution for ensuring necessary performance level and fault tolerance of a farm of virtualization were in details fulfilled. After completion of these works, the updated storage system made at the DEPO Computers plant in strict accordance with the received requirements to a hardware configuration was delivered to the customer. Works on data migration on the new platform were carried out with assistance of engineers of DEPO Computers to the weekend, during a minimum load on an information system of the customer. Thereby smooth commissioning of new information services of Russian Cold group was provided.

2015: Implementation of small IT infrastructure

In 2015 at head office "Russian Cold" small IT infrastructure based on servers and a storage system of DEPO was unrolled. Within implementation of this system engineers of DEPO Computers actively cooperated with the customer's IT specialists, analyzed the tasks facing IT service Russky Holod Group and picked up an optimal configuration of servers and DWH. Engineers of DEPO Computers held a number of consultations for the customer's IT specialists, helped to put quickly a system into operation and helped in the solution of technical issues. Besides, specialists of DEPO Computers offered the level of warranty service necessary for the customer in the place of operation of the equipment in the territory of the Moscow region. The positive experience of cooperation allowed to attract DEPO Computers to the solution of a problem of implementation of other IT infrastructure.

2011: Beginning of cooperation
