"Relief Center" will manage a warehouse based on the WMS system

The Relyef-Centre company which is engaged in distribution of office supplies, paper and clean products and office equipment started project implementation on automation of a warehouse based on the WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite. As the partner in implementation the Ant Technologies company is attracted.

The distribution center of the company of 8500 sq.m. is located in Ryazan on federal highway M5 Ural, has a branch line that allows the company to perform high-quality customer service which the wholesale and retail companies from Belarus to the Far East are.

In the company much attention is paid to providing the high level of service due to effective technologies of warehousing and cargo handling. Therefore the company which already have experience of interaction with a number of suppliers of IT solutions for business process automation in a warehouse in the project on system implementation of management of a warehouse (WMS) very carefully approached the choice and reliability of the partner.

The Logistics Vision Suite system from ant Technologies company was selected by the Relief center company after assessment of a number of important factors: the flexibility of a system allowing to configure business processes taking into account specifics of activity of the company, operating experience of a system in large Russian distribution warehouses, competences of the supplier of the solution on implementation of processing of piece goods, opportunity for accumulation of functionality of a system at emergence of new requirements.

System implementation of Logistics Vision Suite will allow the Relief center company:

• reduce terms of goods acceptance and process a bigger trade flow due to implementation of process of parallel acceptance;
• it is effective to use a zone of floor and rack storage of goods, having optimized processes of placement and processing of goods;
• provide the high accuracy of processing of piece goods;
• increase the speed and accuracy of collecting of orders, to provide consolidation of orders along routes;
• provide timeliness of deliveries to clients of the company and in own retail stores;
• reduce influence of a human factor and increase performance of work of personnel and a warehouse complex in general.

The WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite will be unrolled on 50 users. In plans of the company upon completion of implementation of a warehouse system to continue automation of other logistic processes in the company – in the field of planning and monitoring of resources of a warehouse and also use of modern methods of voice selection of goods.
