On October 3, 2019 it became known that Chinese the producer home appliances Midea selected the international service -provider Orange Business Services as service provider for upgrade of the global communication infrastructure with use public clouds in Asia To Europe, North America and South America.

Transformation of IT infrastructure will expand possibilities of interaction of divisions of Midea worldwide, will increase cost efficiency and will improve transparency of a company performance. Within conversions consolidation of global infrastructure of Midea with the end-to-end IT orchestration and the organization of connections for applications of public clouds and IoT-devices will be carried out. It will provide more productive operation of digital resources of the company and will allow Midea to optimize the services offered clients.

The solution based on the protected public cloud will be implemented using Orange Flexible Engine — open, scalable, safe and reliable infrastructure for placement of traditional and cloud applicaions. Data processing centers in Atlanta, Paris, São Paulo and Singapore will be used. Thus, Midea will be able on a centralized basis and is effective to manage the global infrastructure which flexibility and scalability will provide support to future growth of the international business of the company. It, in turn, will allow to improve customer service quality and to optimize work of employees.
