In the Petroelektrosbyt company specializing in work with residential and nonindustrial consumers of the electric power in St. Petersburg implementation of a free system of setting and automation of budgeting of Palo developed by the German company Jedox is complete. The partner in implementation – Corus Consulting company.
Earlier the company for automation of budgeting used spreadsheets of the MS Excel. Such software products as Cognos and Infor were considered an alternative. However a choice was made for benefit of Palo as implementation cost and supports of this software product is much lower, than at other solutions at comparable functionality.
Work on preparation of model using the MS Excel was begun in 2007 by IT specialists and the staff of financial department. Later with assistance of integrator work on data transfer, setup of formulas, creation of screen forms in a new system was conducted.
Now the project is fully completed. In a system 10 users work. The solution is applied to budgeting tasks and to cost accounting on activities of the company.
