2019: Development and development of Single frontal solution
On October 11, 2019 the Otkrytiye Bank and EPAM company announced strategic partnership which will develop in two directions.
As it was reported, first, it is development and development of the Single frontal solution implemented in Otkrytiye bank for more effective and high-quality customer service. The digital platform will allow to integrate different channels of service of potential and real clients of bank, to accelerate an output to the market of banking products and to offer the updated experience of interaction to both clients of bank, and his employees.
The possibility of use by Otkrytiye bank of potential, experience and methodologies of the innovation division of EPAM for generation of the ideas, development and approbation of solutions and products of the next generation will become other direction of cooperation.
Since 2018 the Otkrytiye bank implements the development strategy which assumes creation of a business model of the modern bank which is actively using the innovative technologies in the work. The choice of EPAM as the partner is caused by deep technology competences and examination of the company, unique for the Russian market, in the field of digital transformation of financial business.
The joint command of Otkrytiye and EPAM bank started creation of Single frontal solution in March, 2019. Only six months later the first version of the platform which allowed to create a uniform client and product profile was put into operation, automated processes of work with standard products of bank, provided support of transactions of contact center and claim activity.
The solution is developed using flexible methodology of Scrum (10 parallel krossfunktsionalny commands) and has microservice architecture. Such approach allows bank to start quickly products and services and to adapt quickly under permanent changes in competitive environment, in customer needs and requirements of regulators. Additional benefit is the possibility of reuse of the developed microservices at connection of traditional and digital channels of service that reduces terms of implementation and costs of all project.
For October, 2019 users of a system are over 7000 specialists of Otkrytiye bank, first of all the staff of retail departments, contact center and some other divisions.
Completely the Otkrytiye bank is going to pass to single frontal solution by the end of 2020.
