CFT announced on January 20, 2021 end of case studies of a cloud solution for interaction of banks with EBS.

Case studies are conducted by testing laboratory Crypto Pro according to regulatory requirements. The report on results of a research is sent to FSB of Russia. On the basis of this report after conducting examination the conclusion about compliance of a cloud solution of CFT to requirements of the system project approved earlier with FSB of Russia will be issued.

Case studies – one of stages of a big complex of works for receiving final confirmation from FSB of Russia on compliance of the created solution to earlier approved system project.

The CFT company has in a line of the financial technical-products both standard, and cloud solutions for the organization of interaction of banks with EBS. System drafts of both solutions are approved by Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and approved for use in credit institutions: the system project on a cloud solution is approved by FSB in October, 2019, the system project on the standard solution is approved by FSB in March, 2020.

Solutions of CFT can be used in infrastructure of banks and allow financial institutions to interact with a Single biometric system in full accordance with requirements of information security, do not require accomplishment of additional researches on the party of credit institution.

For January, 2021 already more than 100 banks selected products of CFT for accomplishment of the requirement of the regulator regarding collecting of biometric data. Financial institutions select both standard, and cloud model of use of the solution.

2020: Official conclusion of FSB about compliance of the system solution to requirements of cybersecurity

On April 7, 2020 Center of Financial Technologies (CFT) announced receiving approval FSB Russia of the System bank EBS project "The Standard Solution for Interaction with". The corresponding letter No. 149/7/6-105 of 3/24/2020 was sent to the accredited laboratory of the company Krypto-PRO.

Approval of FSB of Russia for the CFT software product will provide to the banks selecting the solution of CFT, fulfillment of requirements of the regulator regarding information security when using the solution of the company for work with biometric personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation.

In October, 2019, CFT among the first received approval of FSB of Russia of the System project on a cloud solution for interaction of banks with EBS.

The received decision – the prefinal of a big complex of works in which along with specialists of CFT experts of laboratory Crypto Pro, FSB of Russia, the Bank of Russia take part. A final stage – case studies, control of embedding of cryptomeans, we already began and in the nearest future we will complete. Approval from FSB of the system prekt confirms that banks, using the standard solution of CFT, will perform registration of biometric data, their transfer to EBS, remote identification according to requirements and the methodical recommendations of the Bank of Russia. The system project on the standard solution of CFT describes product requirements, solving both problems of registration of citizens in EBS, and problems of carrying out remote biometric identification. More than 100 banks selected the solution of CFT for collecting of biometric data

More than 100 banks selected the solution of CFT for accomplishment of the requirement of the regulator regarding collecting of biometric data. Most of them selected cloud model of use of the solution, reported in CFT on February 26, 2020.

The cloud solution of CFT allows banks to be connected to a system without acquisition and implementation of the difficult equipment in infrastructure of bank, to fulfill the requirements of the regulator in the terms established by the law and in full accordance with security requirements.

Official conclusion of FSB about compliance of a cloud solution to requirements of cybersecurity

On October 14, 2019 the Center of Financial Technologies announced obtaining the official conclusion of FSB confirming compliance to requirements of information security of a cloud solution of the company for interaction of banks with EBS (the letter of FSB of Russia No. dsp-1627 of October 08, 2019). CFT – the Russian developer who implemented a cloud service for banks on collecting of biometric data.

The positive conclusion of FSB of Russia for the CFT software product provides to banks fulfillment of requirements of the regulator when using in IT infrastructure of a cloud solution for work with biometric to personal data of the citizen of the Russian Federation.

In the project of the Bank of Russia on collecting of biometric data for EBS one of tasks for financial institutions – accomplishment of high requirements of information security. We wanted to propose the solution of this task to the market in the form of service. In this regard we had an idea to implement for banks service of "cloud information security", but not just the service allowing banks to place program software in third-party DPC. This project – an interesting and important precedent for the bank industry. Without support from regulators, Crypto Pro Laboratory and assistance of participants of bank community, this project would be impossible,

A single biometric system – the large-scale national project in which special attention is paid to questions of information security. In each point of infrastructure for collecting, processings, transfer and storage of biometrics should be undertaken increased security measures, specialized information security tools of a certain class, including cryptographic are required. Taking into account features of operational models of financial institutions the CFT company together with Crypto Pro Laboratory and the 8th FSB center worked out options of standard in-house and cloud solutions on connection of banks to EBS with accomplishment of all requirements of information security. The cloud solution of CFT was initially developed with involvement of high-class specialists of the company on information security, experts in creation of cloud infrastructure, network engineers. In this project it is very important to provide network data protection, transferred between bank and CFT. At solution development specialists solved the most difficult tasks, modern technologies which allowed to fulfill the requirements of regulators in full are applied.

Approval of FSB of a cloud solution of CFT – an important event for development not only EBS. We build the base and for implementation of other projects of the Bank of Russia in which, certainly, not less serious requirements to information security will be applied: Marketplace, Digital profile, SBP, etc. Earlier for installation in bank of standard in-house of the solution for collecting of biometrics and its transfer to EBS banks needed to purchase the expensive equipment – the HSM module, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, to select personnel, the certain placement only on support of HSM.
