2019: Implementation of DWH of TES-1885U

On October 14, 2019 Russian the office QNAP announced successful project implementation for Rosgeo storage system TES processor Intel system integrator Jupiter JSC ", where since the beginning of 2019 it is used 18-disk a corporate class - 1885U based on Xeon of D. acted as the partner of the project.

The solution serves for failsafe storage of the user files and virtual machines using such functions as deduplication and data compression in real time for optimization of the occupied capacity and also a large number of instant pictures (snapshots), including incremental, for record of a status of shared folders and iSCSI LUN.

We offered the original TES-1885U model as it not only meets requirements of the customer for capacity, performance and volume of OZU, but also is capable to work running the QES operating system of the corporate level based on FreeBSD and ZFS in which functions of deduplication, a compression and creation over 65 thousand instant pictures are available, told Aleksandra Svistunova, the area manager of QNAP in the Northwestern Federal District

The network drive TES-1885U is equipped with the quad-core Intel Xeon processor D-1521 with clock rate of 2.4 GHz, supports expansion of RAM of DDR4 to 128 GB, has two built-in 10-gigabit ports SFP+ and the SAS controller of 12 Gbps for installation of the corresponding hard drives.
