2019: Scaling of an information system

On October 17, 2019 the company X-Com reported that it scaled an information system National research center of epidemiology and microbiology of a name of the honorary academician N.F. Gamalei of Federal State Budgetary Institution - one of research establishments Ministry of Health Russia.

Carrying out in-depth studies in the field of fundamental problems of epidemiology, medical and molecular microbiology, infectious immunology demanded from the leaders of the Center of expansion of the park of servers and the adjacent equipment.

The contractor of the project was defined on the basis of the open tender held among the Russian system integrators and suppliers of software and hardware tools. By a majority vote a tender committee the company was recognized the winner X-Com, offered the best sales terms of the project and further service of the created solution.

In close cooperation with specialists of department of information technologies of the customer engineers X-Com разработали the engineering design and made specifications of the recommended equipment. The information system of the research center includes a number of the Dell PowerEdge servers based on the Intel processors of the last generation equipped with the integrated disk storage modules. Continuous operation of the equipment and its protection against malfunctions in power supply networks is provided with uninterruptible power supply unit of IPPON. Additional switches of HP are integrated into network infrastructure of organization. The project is executed in strict accordance with contractual terms concerning volumes and terms.
