2019: Presentation of the Support-SPPR system

The holding Roselektronika"" of the State Corporation Rostec on October 18, 2019 announced the development software for the creation of distributed information and control systems of the Armed Forces, state authorities, state corporations and other complex integrated structures.

The software complex, called "Support-SPPR," is a decision support system that, after entering initial data, requirements and restrictions, independently generates an optimal plan for creating automation tools, evaluates their functional characteristics and reliability, calculates the cost and time of development. The plan for creation of automation tools is formed on the basis of analysis of organizational and functional structure of distributed information and control systems of organizational type (RIUS HSE), list and requirements for functional media, processes and tasks.

The developed software can perform both a direct task - to form solutions based on given resource constraints, and the reverse - to calculate the necessary amount of resources to achieve the required level of automation. The software package is also able to plan the work necessary to extend the life of existing distributed information and control systems.

The distributed information and control systems used were developed without a single approach, and for their interfacing and correct integration, special converters and protocols are required. The Support-SPPR program complex is designed to harmonize the creation of new and the development of existing systems, as well as reduce the labor costs of choosing optimal solutions, "said Igor Bresler, Director General of NIIIT JSC.

The Support-SPPR complex was created at the Research Institute of Information Technologies (part of Roselectronics), which specializes in the development of automated control systems.
