The pilot project on SAP implementation of HCM in Cherkizovo started in productive operation

2019: Start of productive operation

On October 18, 2019 the MOLGA Consulting company reported that the pilot project on SAP implementation of HCM in the Cherkizovo Group started in productive operation.

According to the company, in the middle of 2019 the pilot project on the implementing solution SAP HCM in the Cherkizovo Group came to the end. By the end of 2020 it is going to transfer to SAP HCM all enterprises of Group. The MOLGA Consulting company acts as the contractor performing implementation.

Acquisition of assets and increase in number of employees of the Cherkizovo Group led to acceptance of strategic decision by company management on implementation of the automated control system for personnel (ACSP). The selected SAP HCM system met all necessary requirements. The company was faced by the following purposes which were required to be implemented in the shortest possible time:

• unification of business processes of personnel records, time recording and payroll of the company Cherkizovo Group;
• ensuring the centralized end-to-end accounting of personnel management processes and compensation;
• ensuring control in a foreground mode and effective use of information on the movement of number of staff, payroll, unity of techniques and the general principles of reporting.

For system implementation and implementation of effective objectives as contract organization according to the results of the tender the MOLGA Consulting company was selected. The project on SAP implementation of HCM in the Cherkizovo Group started in 2018.

According to the results of the trial operation which is carried out from October to December, 2018 the decision on start of the project in productive operation since January, 2019 was made.

Thus, for October, 2019 all personnel actions and payroll for pilot volume are executed in the SAP HCM system, and these are about 4000 employees. In a special way It should be noted the fact of "smooth" transition to a personnel management system which was painless for non-management employees.

Results of delivery of legislative forms of the reporting allow to confirm successful start of a pilot project and to pass to its replication to all Cherkizovo Group, for October, 2019 on number exceeding pilot volume almost seven times and a component about 27,000 people.

The start in productive operation of an organizational scope of circulation will be performed by two waves: the first and the most considerable — in January, 2020, the second wave of the enterprises is planned for July, 2020.

Active development of the Cherkizovo Group puts a number of ambitious tasks before HR directorate. One of such tasks is unification of the processes and document flow connected with personnel administration and also consolidation in one database on accounting of personnel and payroll. For the solution of this task the SAP HCM system which met all our requirements was selected. Already on pilot volume we noted positive effect from implementation — unification of processes of personnel administration and reduction of time for accomplishment of standard operations on payroll.
