Aggressive school students in Perm will be identified using "smart" video surveillance

In October, 2019 in Perm the pilot project on installation in schools of "smart" surveillance cameras which are able to read out, fix and analyze emotions of school students started. Olga Zarechnaya, the CEO told the Nyyuvizhin-Emotsii company which is based in Perm acting as the supplier of the solution for this project and performing piloting about this TAdviser.

The administration of Perm explained TAdviser that a system is directed to prevention of aggressive behavior of children. One of the most notorious incidents connected with aggressive behavior happened in 2018 at the Perm school No. 127 where two teenagers attacked with a knife children and their teacher.

The pilot project will cover four schools of the Industrial district of Perm. The city administration specified TAdviser that as of October 18 a competition on supply of equipment for face recognition system implementation at city school No. 102 was already held. It is going to start a system in work this fall, after acquaintance and approval of parents of pupils.

Olga Zarechnaya explained that a system has advisory nature and allows psychological service of school to concentrate the efforts at advisory work and support of the most in great need pupils.

If it is simpler to tell, then occurred h / p it was possible to prevent the asked question and the shown attention in time. As for security and personal space of the person as some psychologists complain, in our opinion it comes to an end when the neighbor in a school desk brings in school cold weapon, for example, - the CEO of "Nyyuvizhin-Emotsii" noted.

For inclusion of children in observation by a system it is necessary to receive the consent of parents. Zarechnaya says that the cameras are mounted anyway, and the software Nyyuvizhin excludes from selection of pupils whose parents did not agree. However this question requires separate explanations within the current legislation, she added.

On the one hand, it is possible to speak about a security system of the personality, as some psychologists do, on the other hand, the school - it is the public place where personal motives can pose threat for people around and also the person. Unfortunately, statistics of aggressive and suicide behavior worsens every year, - Olga Zarechnaya emphasized.

At the end of 2018 "Nyyuvizhin-Emotsii" held trial testing of the system at one of the Perm schools together with Rostelecom then it was decided to organize a pilot project.

According to Zarechnaya, developed the software of the Nyyuvizhin system piloted at schools within a grant of Fund of assistance to innovations, and the command of the company consists of professional psychologists with a long standing of work in educational institutions and programmers with scientific degrees.
