2019: Commissioning of a solar power plant in Omsk

In the territory of Omsk Refinery Gazprom Neft with the assistance of Hevel group the region's first 1 MW solar power plant is put into operation. Object of generation consists of 2.5 thousand solar modules, the placed into uninvolved squares in production processes and also on a roof and facades of buildings, reported in Hevel on October 21, 2019.

Within the project for receiving the maximum development the biaxial automated trackers systems of "tracking the sun" and the two-sided solar modules made at the Hevel plant are used.

The governor of the Omsk region highly appreciated experiment of ONPZ on creation of an environmentally friendly power source directly in the territory of industrial enterprise.

Omsk Refinery is a reliable partner of the Omsk region in common cause of strengthening of industrial capacity of the region. A solar power plant — unique experience for our area: and on the level of the implemented technologies, and for decrease in load of traditional heat-and-power engineeering. System approach of Omsk Refinery in implementation of hi-tech environmentally safe projects is an example for other enterprises of Omsk — the governor of the Omsk region Alexander Burkov emphasized.

Beyond all doubt — the modern industrial enterprise should be not only is effective, but also is eco-friendly. The project of a solar power plant of Omsk Refinery is a fine example of such approach — the CEO of Omsk Refinery Oleg Belyavsky noted.

The solar power plant will provide Omsk Refinery with additional generation, it will allow to improve indicators of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness due to use of the uninvolved areas in technology process. Taking into account insolation of Omsk settlement annual development of the station will make 1.2 million kWh that will allow to avoid more than 5,000 tons of emissions of CO2 in the atmosphere from development of coal combined heat and power plants, – the deputy CEO – the director of a business unit "Engineering and Generation" of Hevel group Oleg Shutkin reported.
