"Altius is Construction management" 10

On November 2, 2016 the Altius Software company announced release of the tenth version "ALTIUS — Construction Management".

Developers upgraded the interface, defining it as intuitive, graphic. It is focused on fast, effective studying and implementation of the program, on acceleration of work with documents.


Features of the version

  • In the 10th version everything is executed in the form of hints.
  • All documents are integrated in the form of a hierarchical tree.
  • During creation of any new document (Dress, Act, "The request for Inventories", etc.) a significant amount of fields will be autocompleted.
  • Graphic features "tens" are added by reports in a schedule type and charts.

Subversion 9.21: new reports, new opportunities

On September 21, 2016 the Altius Soft company announced updating of the Altius — Construction Management program subversion 9.21.

"ALTIUS is Construction management" (2016)

Within the updated subversion it is possible to see a number of successful updates. In particular, the release includes the report now "A status of requests for Inventories" which will allow to receive to specialists of OMTS and the head the most complete idea of execution of requests (earlier the report contained only in the module "Suppliers and Purchases").

Changes concerned also the existing reports "The plan/fact on resources", "The report for work of employees" (the new fields grouping lines, information selection terms are added). Now in the STANDARD version it is possible to autocomplete the cost of works and structure of resources from "The application on a stage with the customer".

2013

"Premium of Altius"

On December 25, 2013 the Altius Software company announced release of the new version of the ERP system of management of the construction enterprise "Altius".

The main differences in a system - its interactivity. Users of this version will be able to receive SMS notifications. Function of reminders on dates, terms, possible deviations from planned targets, deceleration of rates of carrying out the construction works and other events directly influencing project implementation is also implemented. Within other versions such messages can directly come via the interface of the program - without working in the program (being on an object, for example), the user has no complete idea of affairs at the enterprise. In the new version, using SMS informing it will be possible to make operational management decisions, it is time-invariant also locations.

The system of Altius was equipped with the chat mode. There the staff of the construction company automated on the basis of the system of Altius will be able to communicate.

In plans "Altius Software" — development of the general chat. In it all users of a system of Altius from the different cities and developers — specialists "Altius Software" will be able to communicate. It is expected that it will help to save up the essential knowledge base, to get advice on the program in a foreground mode. The Premium version is equipped with the configured user interface which awaking useful to the users working at a permanent basis with the specific list of documents and reports. They will be able to build in the most necessary to them reports any document according to which it is required to obtain aggregated data that will allow to accelerate and standardize work without excess movements in the program.

In Premium version the user can set a break in production of construction works (i.e., on a case of days off or holidays or the periods when works are not performed). Such opportunity will allow to receive more exact works schedules and deliveries of resources that directly influences optimization of calendar, resource and financial planning in construction, noted in the company. "Premium" - the version of the ERP system of management of the construction enterprise "Altius" is available to acquisition since December 20, 2013.

2011

Module "Stroyanalitik"

In March, 2011 the ALTIUS SOFT company announced release of the new module "Stroyanalitik" which will be included in structure of the new, seventh version of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program.

Advantage of the new module "Stroyanalitik" is that with its help the user can analyze indicators, important for it. This analysis is automatic. I.e. directly the user should not verify any data manually. He sets some evaluation criteria, and the program tells him in what case the deviation from these criteria is observed. For example, exceeding of limits of resources (both in percentage, and in a ruble equivalent), a ratio of the acts closed by contractors and customers, lag from terms of execution of works and many other things. The user will be able to set those values which are critical. In case of exceeding of these values, the program will automatically indicate it, having selected this or that agreement, an agreement stage, work as red color. And, the user will be able to receive the itemized statement, having looked since what moment there came non-compliance with terms that became the reason of it what work was performed at the wrong time, etc. If the line is not highlighted in red color, then it will become the certificate that there are no deviations from planned targets. Generalizing all aforesaid to one phrase, one may say, that the new module is semaphore system or preliminary control. This system helps construction company to control all aspects of activity automatically and to take operational measures in case of a possibility of approach of critical situation.

Important and the fact that the module "Stroyanalitik" can work with any module of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program. Both with the module "Stroyrukovoditel", and with other, simpler modules. For example, at joint work with the module "Stroylogistik", it is possible to see an excessive consumption of materials and resources. At the same time, the employee of logistic service will be able to specify for himself independently deviations in what expression interest him: in percentage or monetary. I.e. even within one module for each user relevant, individual evaluation criteria can be set. The head of construction company will be able to estimate work of all departments and divisions. In the program it will be visually shown when the employee responsible for these or those projects, agreements was informed on emergence of a problem. Therefore, the employee can simply not hide emergence of any negative factors. Thus, the head receives important levers both for company management, and for control of subordinates.

According to a development team of ALTIUS SOFT company, the module "Stroyanalitik" can be considered really the innovation part of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program 7.0. Construction companies were positive to the proposal of developers and made the decision to begin work in this module. Already now users give a favorable assessment to this module, consider it essentially important and necessary innovation. It, of course, stirs their interest in complete functionality of the seventh version of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program, and developers state that it is not unreasonable.

2010

At the end of summer of 2010 the structure of the program switched on the data preparation module for self-regulatory organizations (SRO). It is impossible to call the new module the bulky and overloaded difficult functionality. On the contrary, it is executed most laconically and focused on implementation of the main actions which are required for data preparation for SRO. This module allows to prepare a number of the main documents necessary for joining SRO: the questionnaire of members (alternate members) of SRO, the application for joining SRO, the application for issue of certificates on admission to works or making changes in them.

According to developer company the sixth version of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program contains a set of the anti-recessionary components meeting current demands of construction companies.

1. Now customers reduce advance payments by salary to contractors, and periodically transfer advance payments on resources for purchase of required materials and the equipment. In the new version such calculations are performed automatically: the program correlates the works schedule to the delivery schedule of resources.

2. From the new report "Open objects" it is possible to receive the indicators required for accounting on "nezavershenka" on any timepoint, including on previous periods that allows accounting to calculate taxes precisely, but not approximately as often happens.

3. Insurance (reserve) deduction (and their return) which became customary practice, in the program are calculated automatically, and accounts form taking into account the withheld insurance sums.

4. After formation of the act of the performed works with the customer it is possible to create automatically acts with subcontractors, and the work types executed by each contractor, their amounts and the cost will be automatically calculated.


It is known that receiving from the customer of advance payment in the amount of 100% for materials and the equipment and a certain percent (from 15 to 50%) of the salary of workers was until recently customary practice. In the conditions of economic instability customers have available no sufficient funds for one-time advance transfer for resources under all agreement. Simply speaking, in the market the trend "appeared count money". Today customers reduce advance payments by the salary to contractors, and advance payments on resources are transferred periodically (monthly or quarterly) only on required materials and the equipment - without which production process cannot be performed. For calculation of such advancing it is necessary "to impose" the works schedule on the estimate and to calculate the cost of resources in every period what manually to execute it is very labor-consuming. Follows from current situation that calculation of cost of resources should be the most correct. At the same time accuracy in calculations is important as for the customer who transfers money to the contractor, and for the contractor who should have reliable data on the cost of necessary resources and tell the customer the relevant amounts for purchase of the necessary materials, raw materials and the equipment. It is necessary as cases when the expected amounts which the customer is going to list to the contractor on purchase of resources differ from the data which are available for the last are frequent. Besides, customers need to calculate accurately and the cost of materials to be provided to understand how many money, is necessary on purchase of these materials for the contractor. Respectively according to long-term agreements minimum payments (advance payments) necessary for construction are calculated with customers. These amounts are reflected in the agreement, at the same time their frequency is specified. At accomplishment of similar calculations manually they will be quite approximate that will cause an array of problems.

If the calculated amounts are less minimum necessary, then the contractor will not be able to perform in full work in a current period that will provoke the general failure to meet time constraints of works on the agreement. If it is more, then it will become the reason of "freezing" of current assets as they will be listed earlier, than it was necessary. In the new, sixth version of the ALTIUS — Construction Management program such calculations can be made automatically.

It will allow the management to know precisely structure, the amounts, terms of the forthcoming payments to contractors, in advance to reflect them in agreements and to be sure that the risk of lag from the works schedule or current assets deficit (on condition of accomplishment of obligations by contractors) will be minimized.

We deal with "nezavershyonka"

Also using the new version it is possible to obtain the data necessary for exact calculation of the property tax which taxable basis includes "incomplete construction". Some construction organizations do not show on accounting "nezavershenka" for the obvious reasons. The item-by-item cost accounting and their distribution to the separate sub-account is a difficult task which is difficult achievable using accounting programs. For example, costs for the salary of workers who within a month worked on different objects it is rather difficult to carry in "nezavershenka" on each of them. Therefore, if works agreements short-term and "nezavershenka" is rather small (that is estimated usually "by eye"), then it is just not considered. At the small amounts even if check will reveal availability of "nezavershenki" and insufficient charge of a tax, the amounts of penalties and penalty fee will be small. However at long-term construction of a large real estate availability of "nezavershenki" becomes explicit, and it should be seen off on accounting and to accrue a tax. As a result accounting often keeps this account in less detail that gives an error when calculating a tax. Practice shows that the amounts of tax on 5 – 30% big are most often charged and paid, than it is necessary. In the sixth version "ALTIUS — Construction Management" of similar situations it is possible to avoid using the report "Open objects" which just allows quickly and to receive the indicators required for accounting on any timepoint, including on previous periods. Thus, use of the program gives the chance to provide in accounting exact data on "nezavershenka" during the necessary period and to avoid a tax overpayment that will facilitate its work and will allow to save current assets.

Insurance deduction and acts of the performed works

Stopping on exact calculation of insurance deduction it should be noted that in the new version of the program calculations can be made besides automatically. Besides, the program will automatically create accounts taking into account insurance sums that will allow not to recalculate separate indicators in addition.

If to speak about a possibility of automatic formation of acts of the performed works with subcontractors, then It should be noted that it is not only about a possibility of automatic drawing up the document, but also that the program will calculate all calculations for it (amounts and cost of the works performed by each contractor). It will allow to depart from approximate indicators which in a varying degree meet in work of each construction company. Pay attention that the created act will include also the amounts of insurance deduction. It will allow the company to receive not only important financial performance and by that to carry out practical work, but also to perform analytical, comparative works which are not less important for its further activity in general and development in particular.

ALTIUS is Construction management 7.0

This module became available to use in work long before a release of the full, seventh version of the called program. As it was already reported in the previous press releases of ALTIUS SOFT company, the module "Stroyanalitik" is intended for the automatic analysis of indicators which are important for the specific user. Evaluation criteria which it can set in the module, various (from terms, to the amounts and amounts in monetary or percentage value). Actually new module is semaphore system or preliminary control. This system helps construction company to control all aspects of activity automatically and to take operational measures in case of a possibility of approach of critical situation. And, it is possible to make it beforehand.

In addition a lot of changes happened both regarding reports, and regarding import of internal standards, regarding documents. If to speak about documents, then among them there were absolutely new forms which were not in one of the previous versions of the program and also the functionality of the existing forms was improved. A number of the new opportunities allowing to integrate different parameters was added to reports. Many reports in the seventh version work with new forms of parameters (with a possibility of multiple selection).

As for use of internal standards, maintaining internal standards as for own organization (for planned cost calculation, resources, labor input, etc.), and for a possibility of formation of the free market, negotiated prices under agreements with customers is provided in this part of the program now. So using internal standards, setting percent of profitability (profitability), it is possible to calculate automatically commercial quotations under agreements with customers and contractors. As a result, for the organizations which work not on estimates and for commercial standards it is not even necessary to import any data to the program. Commercial standards can be considered in the program and to rely on them when forming new agreements, to vary percent of a discount (margin) for different objects, customers and other.

ALTIUS is Construction management 7.2

The ALTIUS SOFT company released new subversion 7.12 of the ERP system "ALTIUS". In the subversion a lot of changes was entered to different parts of a system. But special completions and considerable changes happened in parts: "ALTIUS is Construction management" and "ALTIUS — Suppliers and purchases". Let's remind that the ALTIUS system is created especially for management of the construction organization, it is completely ready to implementation, is standard (drawing).

ALTIUS — Construction Management program

If to speak about a part "ALTIUS is Construction management", then here changes concerned such sections as: "Construction constants", "The application on a stage with the customer", "The application on a stage with the contractor", "Planning of own works". For example, in relation to the document "The Application on a Stage with the Contractor", it is possible to tell about the following change which belongs to the document "Internal Standards for Works". In the new version in this document calculation is provided in parts: "Machines and mechanisms" (amount, VAT amount, salary of the machine operator), Other expenses (VAT amount), Works (salary of workers, amount, VAT amount). Thus, the field of management accounting connected with internal standards for works became even more detailed, convenient for contract organization. Very often construction company is guided by internal standards, but not on estimate which often lag behind realities of construction business.

"ALTIUS — Suppliers and Purchases" program

Regarding "ALTIUS — Suppliers and purchases" which during 2012 develops most actively happened even more global changes of functionality. They concerned a number of documents: "Reports", "Delivery note on movement", Goods receipt note, "Request to the supplier", "Request for Inventories", "Price of the supplier", Sales agreement", Bank, Delivery route, Purchase agreement, "Selection of the supplier", Specification", "Comparison of codes of material values", "Import of price lists", Reference books.

For example, when importing several price lists from one supplier, the last version of the price list is recognized acting, and previous it is considered invalid (it is closed by yesterday). It is very convenient as the construction company works with a number of suppliers who offer the mass of names of materials, the equipment, equipment, etc. An opportunity to be guided by the existing price list, without thinking of that, it is relevant or not, allows to optimize construction company time and monetary expenditure.

One more change which it would be desirable to mention concerns a part "The request for Inventories". In this part there was an opportunity to automatically create the following documents: "Delivery note on movement", "Selection of the supplier", "Request to the supplier". For creation of the document "Delivery Note on Movement" the special template that inaccuracies in drawing up the delivery note were not allowed is used.

The available reports of the "ALTIUS — Suppliers and Purchases" program were significantly finished and also new reports were created. Among them: "The prices of materials of date", "The plan/diagram of agreement performance of purchase", "The plan/diagram of agreement performance of purchase" (on months). It is important to notice that all reports are provided to a uniform type and style now.

ALTIUS - Construction management 8.0

"ALTIUS is Construction management" 8.0. – the new step on the way to effective management of the construction organization, together with the message about a release of the new version was stated by the press service of developer company on July 26, 2013.

Control of work of contractors

As a part of the new version the unique mechanisms capable to warn the management about the probability of emergence of critical situations in the project, on an object, under the agreement. In dynamics it is possible to control not only process of construction production, but to understand degree of responsibility of each employee. In this version of the program the powerful mechanism of control over performing discipline is implemented.

Internal communications

The PROF version of the program "ALTIUS — Construction Management" regarding "CRM" is supplied the system of internal messages. The head can give a task to the employee, request from it the report, receive the notification on task performance. Besides, in the module "Stroyanalitik" deviations from calendar, resource, financial plans are automatically controlled, understanding of degree of professional responsibility of each employee is available.
