2019: Start of a control system for the movement of a harvest of leguminous cultures and beet

On October 23, 2019 Rostelecom reported that together with group "Rusagro started a control system for the movement of a harvest of leguminous cultures and beet. It will allow to increase safety of finished goods at all stages of cleaning and transportation in all regions of activity of Rusagro.

A system is intended for control of the movement of finished goods at each stage of production process: from cleaning in the field, acceptance and transfers between participants of harvesting before its transportation and delivery on acceptance point. A system provides transparent and operational providing information on the movement of finished goods.

The control system is constructed using technology of industrial Internet of Things (Industrial Internet of Things, IIoT) and provides hardware-software data collection from sensors and identification RFID cards installed on means of collecting, transfer and transportation of a harvest and also transfer of these data on mobile networks in an information system of the customer which displays necessary data in the automated workplace of the user.

Feature of system operation of control is that identification of the receiver when unloading finished goods in the bunker reloader is performed wirelessly, without stopping workflow. A system allows participants of acceptance and transfer of a harvest surely and to unambiguously identify each other, irrespective of an entrance method to the vygruzhny device and also in the conditions of dust content and in the presence a number of other equipment supplied with the wireless identification equipment. The control system functions including in the absence of a signal of cellular communication.

The control system for the movement of a harvest will be replicated during 2019-2020. The decision on further scaling of the project in all regions of activity of Rusagro is made after summing up successful trial operation of a pilot zone of a control system for the movement of a harvest in the Belgorod region.

When choosing approaches to accomplishment of a target task and to creation of system architecture on control of the movement of a harvest, we analyzed a number of the ready-made products which are available in the market. It was decided to stop on the development of Rostelecom providing execution of all requirements. We applied a number of the technical solutions directed to increase in efficiency of delivery of data and their reliability during the operation of the equipment in the field in the conditions of lack of 100% of a covering of the mobile Internet. We expect that replication of the created system will allow to increase safety of a harvest at all stages and transparency of the movement of finished goods on the way from a field to storage locations,
