On October 28, 2019 it became known that the project management system on upgrade of processes in Uvelka company - one of food holdings of Russia is created.

Production Uvelka

Products of the company are provided in all large federal and regional retail chain stores. The Uvelka brand is known not only in our country, but also is far beyond its limits.

On production are implemented and successfully Lean-technologies work.

At the end of 2018 the government of Chelyabinsk region was supported the investment project of Resource company (Uvelka trademark) on construction of a large production and logistic complex.

According to the government of the region, the total amount of investments will be 3.4 billion rubles. The company management emphasizes that the project is directed, first of all, to expansion of the operating production. The project assumes creation of platforms for processing of grain, packing of products and deep processing of crops, an elevator and also the logistic automated warehouse of 11 thousand sq.m.

It is planned that after construction of a complex the share of Uvelka in the Russian market of grain, flakes and porridges will grow to 20%, and a third of products will be exported, including to China. For increase in efficiency of projects and improvement of production processes the decision on implementation of a project management information system of ADVANTA was made.

In our company based on Lean project management was already constructed. There was a settled methodology and the developed experience of start and maintaining projects. There was a practice of project planning on 5-10-15, once a year the strategic session was held. Implementation of the ADVANTA system became the next stage of improvement of production and management processes in the company. At a system the clear and modern interface, quick start and deployment: implementations completed the first stage and began to work. Undoubted plus of a system is that with its help it is possible to load data from Excel, and at us them was quite a lot,

Project Results

  • The control technique by projects on control points is applied.
  • The schedule is configured and automatic collecting of the fact on project implementation is started.
  • ISUP is integrated with other systems of the company regarding finance and indicators.

It was very interesting to me to work on this project. Uvelka is the company which all processes aims to automate, reduce labor input, to minimize costs. It has rather specific projects, LEAN production is implemented. Change of certain process parameters of production and achievement of performance indicators is result of such projects.
