2019: Implementation of managing computer systems based on Elbrus processors
On October 31, 2019 Automatic equipment concern reported that the managing computer systems executed based on processors "Elbrus" using crucial elements of production of Avtomatika Concern of State corporation Rostec are implemented in microprocessor systems of train dispatching. For October, 2019 goad such systems undergo under control operation at two stations "Russian Railways", their implementation at a number of stations is expected.
For achievement of the maximum results the Concern cooperates with the innovative companies of the country. So, development and delivery of complexes is performed in close interaction with JSC ELTEZA.
Management systems for the movement Russian Railway belong to important objects of the critical information infrastructure (CII). Cyberthreats in the field of the organization of rail transportation have the high level of danger. The risk price in this sphere is very high - lives of people, technogenic catastrophes, extensive damage for national economy. Our technologies successfully solve problems of ensuring reliable protection against cyberthreats and zero day attacks, said the CEO of Avtomatika Concern Vladimir Kabanov

The motherboard for the managing computer system in a system is created based on the Russian microprocessor Elbrus-4C platform. The payment is developed by the technology partner of PJSC INEUM named after I. Brook (enters into Avtomatika Concern) – JSC MCST and is made by forces of INEUM. The managing computer system is equipped with the Elbrus operating system with support of real-time operation.
Except high degree of protection there are several factors which do our developments by more competitive in comparison with foreign producers when using on railway and other transport, first of all it is long lifecycle. Having developed IT solution in Russia, we can support and develop it as much as long. The problems connected with disappearance from the market of separate components are minimized. For example, the Avtomatika Concern of State Corporation Rostec makes Elbrus computer systems with lifecycle in 10 and more years. At the same time foreign microprocessors are laid off much quicker – in 3-5 years. Also Russian solutions can be most adapted to needs of the customer, unlike foreign analogs, told Kabanov
