At the beginning of November, 2019 Sberbank announced development of the assistant using artificial intelligence for doctors. Service, as expected, will be able to make fast and qualitative diagnoses and to appoint adequate treatment.

Sberbank announced development of the assistant using artificial intelligence for doctors.

We see high potential in creation of smart tools for the doctor, his assistant who allows the specialist quicker and better to diagnose a disease and to offer necessary treatment — the first deputy chairman of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin reported in an interview of RIA Novosti.

According to him, for creation of such assistant important that there was a good set of the data marked by experienced doctors for training of artificial intelligence. An AI system on which Sberbank works by November, 2019 is capable to distinguish by means of the analysis of medical images pneumonia and breast cancer according to analyses and also can be applied also to detection of diseases of the blood circulatory system and oncological diseases, he noted.

In 2020 Sberbank intends to make the decision on how new development will look and what tasks it will be able to carry out. The new project is already discussed with representatives of several Russian regions, Alexander Vedyakhin told.

By November, 2019 the project of Sberbank is at a stage of "advanced scientific research".

There are good results of scientific research and a program code which allows to work with images and data. As it is farther it will be necessary in the boxed solution and will be broadcast, we discuss now, the solution will appear next year — Vedyakhin said.

He called artificial intelligence "nuclear fuel of our future" which is capable to improve any task in the national economy, science and any human activity.^[1]
