"Lisa Alert" will look for the gone people using the system of search radio beacons

2019: System implementation of search radio beacons

On November 7, 2019 in BF "System" reported that volunteers of search and rescue group "Lisa Alert" will look for the search radio beacons which were gone in the forest using a system. The technological solution was developed by a team of engineers Stratonauts within the research initiative Odyssey directed to creation of technologies of effective search of the people who were gone in the forest. Under the terms of the Odyssey project, technologies should work under any weather conditions, at any time and to find gone in the forest even if it has with itself no phone or other source of communication.

"The system of search radio beacons allows to coordinate work of search and rescue groups online on the area of 314 sq.km, including in places without communication source. All radio beacons in a system are united in a single network where each beacon relays the data obtained from the neighboring beacons that allows to cover very large territories. Information from radio beacons comes both to command center search, and on personal beacons of rescuers", 'Denis Efremov, the captain Stratonauts noted'

"If the search group deviates the set track, then it is possible to correct a search zone only when the group returns to the headquarters, i.e. approximately in 6-8 hours. In search time every minute on the account. Thanks to the system of radio beacons the coordinator of search transaction can control online movements of all search groups and quickly adjust their route, being in the headquarters", 'Grigory Sergeyev, the chairman of search and rescue group "Lisa Alert" noted'

The system of search radio beacons – a part of the technology complex developed by Stratonauts. Several UAVs equipped with dash video cameras of high resolution and thermal imagers, the mobile headquarters of management of search and aerostats with signal repeaters also are a part of a complex.
