2019: DXC Technology purchased Virtual Clarity
In November, 2019 the DXC Technology company which closed several months the transaction on merger of Luxoft earlier, announced Virtual Clarity purchase. Its participants did not begin to disclose the cost of this transaction.
DXC she intends to make use of Virtual Clarity experience to expand the opportunities of provision of services for upgrade of IT infrastructure and to improve the capabilities by assessment, development and management of cloud projects.
DXC is going to integrate the cloud solutions and services of application development and also strategic partner communications with opportunities of the Virtual Clarity IT conversions to help corporate clients to accelerate digital transformation, to use technologies for increase in efficiency in the course of scaling of business and to stimulate development of business innovations.
Earlier DXC Technology and Virtual Clarity cooperated on several projects. In particular, they helped with one of large financial holdings to transfer thousands of applications to a hybrid cloud according to regulatory requirements. Besides, the companies carried out IT upgrade in large North American commercial bank and performed migration of 7 thousand applications in a public cloud by request of telecommunication giant. The names of these clients are not told.
The transaction with Virtual Clarity became for the DXC second acquisition of the company in November, 2019. Also it was announced purchase of the Australian Bluleader which helps clients to implement the software of SAP and Microsoft.[1]
