1995: Creation of Lycos, Inc
Lycos appeared as the research project of Michael Lauren Moldin at the University Carnegie — Mellon. In 1995 with attraction of a venture capital the company Lycos, Inc was created. The search engine Lycos was one of the first in the Internet.
