2019: Start of tender worth 1.2 billion rubles on equipment procurement for the system of face recognition

On November 8, 2019 it became known that the Government of Moscow announced competition on supply of equipment for providing computing resources of a city system of video analytics, information on what was posted on the website of state procurements. JSC Elektronnaya Moskva belonging to the government acts as the customer. The starting maximum price of the contract is 1.2 billion rubles. Requests are accepted till November 11, 2019, the winner of competition will be defined on November 18.

According to technical specifications, within the contract servers 95 GPU one types and ten — other type, all based on processors Intel Xeon Silver with Nvidia Tesla T4 accelerators will be purchased. Operation parameters of servers and accelerators from software the company are registered in a task NTechLab.

18 CPU servers based on the Intel Xeon processors Gold will be in addition purchased. In these servers memory of Samsung and Broadcom controllers should be used. Also 40 infrastructure servers of one type and five other types, 79 database servers of one type, eight — other type (the server of queues), three — the third type will be purchased. Besides, switches of three types will be purchased: 18, four and six pieces of each type. Also the set of transceivers will be purchased, with a capacity of one DWH near the 9th petabyte and two expansion cards for the router^[1].
