The first stage of modernization of gas metering stations at the Penza TETs-1 frac and the Arbekovo GRP-2 boiler house has been completed

2019: Completion of the first stage of modernization of gas metering stations

On November 12, 2019, the company Circle announced the completion of the first stage of modernization of gas metering stations at frac Penza TETs-1 and GRP-2 (d boiler house "Arbekovo".). Penza The modernization was carried out in order to ensure the reliability and increase the accuracy of measurements of natural gas consumption parameters, as well as to achieve the required economic performance indicators of heat supply facilities.

KRUG carried out design and survey work on the technical re-equipment of natural gas metering stations at the frac of the Penza TETs-1 and the GRP-2 boiler house Arbekovo. The design and estimate documentation was submitted to the Customer in full and equipment was supplied for organizing commercial metering of natural gas for frac and transmitting operational data via telemetry channels to Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Penza LLC. The working documentation was developed using standard technical solutions of NPF KRUG for automation of commercial metering of natural gas.

Penza TETs-1 and the Arbekovo boiler house are part of the Mordovian branch of T Plus PJSC and provide energy to industrial enterprises and social infrastructure facilities in Penza. The Penza TETs-1 provides 89% of the supply of thermal energy for the population living in the municipal housing stock: the installed electric capacity is 310 MW, the installed thermal capacity is 805 Gcal/h. The installed thermal capacity of the Arbekovo boiler house is 432 Gcal/hour.

Previously, technical accounting of natural gas consumption at the Arbekovo TETs-1 and boiler house was carried out only by metering devices Gazprom of Mezhregiongaz Penza LLC. According to the order of the General Director of PJSC T Plus Mordovskiy branch management decided to equip all energy sources with their own commercial gas metering units. Based on the results of the Customer's bidding for the development of design estimates and the supply of lower-level equipment, NPF KRUG was declared the winner. It is envisaged to transfer operational data to the centralized dispatching system of T Plus PJSC according to the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.
