2019: Purchase of software Mobile Criminalist

On November 11, 2019 it became known that head department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across the Novosibirsk region Mobile Criminalist (Detective story version) carries out purchase of the license to use software. The relevant information is posted on the website of state procurements.

Three applications are submitted for an auction, the procedure of their consideration on Sberbank-AST electronic platform began on November 11, 2019. As it appears from technical specifications, the license to use of "The mobile criminalist" is bought for 24 months. The starting maximum price of the contract is 299 thousand rubles. The license should be transferred to the customer in time from January 1, 2020 to March 1, 2020.

In technical specifications it is specified that the functionality of the purchased software allows to import and analyze billings (CallDataRecords) received from cellular operators. Also the program gives root-access to Android devices. "The mobile criminalist" allows to load and analyze the different backup copies created by programs for synchronization of data or other software and also displays all facts of use of the mobile device in one list.

Besides, the program allows to analyze contacts of the user from the telephone directory, messages, the event log, messengers and social networks. Also it shows the accounts and passwords taken from standard files of storage. In addition in technical specifications the possibility of extraction of the popular phone models and budget devices given from remarks and also a possibility of display of social communications between the owner of the studied device and its contacts is specified.

The program supports browsers for Android iOS, BlackBerry OS and Symbian. It allows to investigate files with expansions; sqlite; sqlite3; sqlitedb; db and; db3. Through "The mobile criminalist" it is possible to look at the technical information smartphone oh, including data of the manufacturer, the name of model, data on the platform and its version, IMEI, the MAC address, IMSI, serial number and the phone number.

Using "The mobile criminalist" it is possible to analyze information on the proceeding, entering and missed subscriber's calls. For each call it is possible to determine time of its implementation, duration and contact of the interlocutor. Also the program shows the notes, tasks and the calendar records created by the user or received at synchronization. The possibility of viewing the SMS, MMS, e-mail and iMessage of the owner of the device is provided. It is possible to browse information on contacts of the user also: the name, a type of activity, phone numbers, the addresses, e-mail and notes^[1].
