In the middle of November, 2019 it became known that NP Glonass creates the Avtoshazam application estimating an engine condition on a sound. This TASS was announced by the press secretary of the organization and the official representative of NTI "Avtonet" Yaroslav Fedoseyev.
The Shazam application which is able to define the contractor and the name of the song online is familiar to all. We had an idea to use artificial intelligence technology for determination of age of the car and a run — "Avtoshazam — he reported. |
In this application the driver will be able to write a sound of the engine of the car. It will be processed by special algorithms. In parallel information on the car is looked for on all social networks, messengers and the general search on the Internet.
Specially trained algorithm will estimate a machine engine condition, a run and age of the car. On the basis of the written data a system issues result and if necessary repair recommends to the car owner to take place.
Whether additional service is necessary for similar outputs for the car owner with at least minimum experience, it is not specified.
When checking breakdown of the engine on a sound in technical center the specialist uses a special automobile stethoscope which he tries to localize a foreign sound if it is available. And the person considers a set of other factors.
Even the on-board computer can not always correctly define fault, collecting information from all sensors in the motor.
Data of a sound will be authentic a priori if we connect car makers to their moderation. And we will make it — Fedoseyev assured. |
According to forecasts of NTI "Avtonet", about 1.5-2 million people in a year will be able to use service. Application launch is planned for 2021, Yaroslav Fedoseyev reported. The project investment cost developed within the Avtodata platform is estimated at 3 million rubles.[1]
