2019: Release of a RFID tag of WingshieldTag

On November 18, 2019 the RST-Invent company provided WingshieldTag RFID tag for the protected indentifikation of vehicles in the systems of contactless collecting of payment.

As noted in RST-Invent, WingshieldTag is developed using NXP the UCODE DNA chip with cryptographic protection which provides dynamic security data what allows to apply a RFID tag in the solutions requiring additional protection: contactless payment for driving through the paid highway, use of paid parkings, for example at the airports, payment of gas station, car wash, etc.

According to the developer, in addition to complete inviolability of personal data, WingshieldTag differs in the range of reading, more than 12 meters. The RFID tag for a windshield has the stratified structure necessary for an exception of a possibility of substitution of the identified object – the attempt of removal will lead to destruction of the antenna and the termination of functioning of a tag.

The RFID tag of WingshieldTag is created for application in the systems of identification of vehicles in control systems of entrance/departure of cars and in the systems "free flow" for paid roads. At identification need for a vehicle stop is excluded, minimizing the probability of formation of jams and allows to accelerate as much as possible traffic flow, the solution designer emphasized.
